Those Scary Russian Connections

The most important thing to understand about the investigations into Donald Trump’s sinister Russian connections is that the entire exercise is nothing more than political theatrics … grandstanding … showbiz at its worst.

Virtually everyone involved in this nonevent is himself a criminal who lives by a totally different set of rules than the gullible TV viewers who take the theatrical performances of politicians seriously. Heck, people were even enthralled when congressional thespians questioned Roger Clemens, Mark McGuire, and Sammy Sosa.

But theatrics aside, the objective of the Russian-connection investigations has nothing to do with finding or fixing any wrongdoings. Next to giving the lazy busybodies on Capitol Hill another chance to act like the big shots they aren’t, the main purpose of the investigations is to do anything and everything possible to stall the biggest government overhaul in American history.

Let’s give credit where credit is due and admit that the Dirty Dems and their McCain moles in the Republican Party have thus far been incredibly successful at slowing the Trump Train down to a crawl. And I can assure you with total confidence that behind closed doors Dirty Dems are yukking it up and high-fiving each other on their successes in diverting the public’s attention from just how quickly Donald Trump is moving to fulfill his promises.

Kind of like when Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber said that “the stupidity of the American voter” made it possible for him and his partners in crime to hide Obamacare’s true costs from the public.  These are very, VERY bad human beings who lack a conscience and harbor a deep-seated hatred for the average American.

Here’s the real bottom line to all this: Let’s suppose that this garbage expedition eventually stumbles across some evidence that would give an imaginative Dirty Dem enough ammunition to create a half-believable theory to support the idea that Russia tried to help Trump win the election. I doubt that will happen, but just to make my point, let’s stipulate to it.

My first question would then be: What’s the point? Russia has been doing this kind of thing since the days of Lenin in the early years of the Bolshevik Revolution. And U.S. intelligence agencies have been doing everything they can to spy on and destabilize Russia — as well as many other countries — during the past 200 years. So what’s new?

But there’s more. Now, how does a Russian spy, a Russian hacker, or a Russian hooker manage to convince even one United States citizen to change his or her vote? And even if that were possible, how could anyone prove that someone changed his vote because a Russki convinced him to do so?

If the government of Lithuanian, Germany, or South Africa openly supported a Horrible Hillary, Barack Obama, or Donald Trump, I ask again: So what? That’s their business. Any government or citizen of any country has a right to express support for any candidate in any other country.

We have no right to tell other countries what they can and cannot do on their own soil. I don’t think we even have a legal right to stop a foreign government from running ads in its own country in support of a U.S. presidential candidate. It’s a moot point, of course, because no country does it.

There’s only one thing that would be illegal, and that would be if someone found a way to tamper with voting machines in this country and actually change people’s ballots. But everyone agrees that that probably could never happen, and certainly did not happen in the last election.

The Dirty Dems, of course, always cheat with impunity, but not by tampering with voting machines. Their stock in trade is to pay people to vote multiple times or vote under the aliases of dead people. And, of course, finding ways for illegal aliens to vote is SOP for them.

That said, from what I’ve heard thus far, my guess is that the Trump-Russian connection is nothing more than Dirty Dem wishful thinking. I could be wrong, but I doubt it. In the meantime, all these hearings are a wonderful excuse for politicians to continue to avoid doing what their constituents sent them to Washington to do and gives them the opportunity to put their acting skills on display on a daily basis.

One good thing that might come out of all this is that the country’s most famous crooked cop, James Comey, appears to be getting himself into a hole from which there may be no escape. After he went to the trouble to read a list of felonies Horrible Hillary had committed, then concluded by saying that no reasonable person would prosecute her, he should have crawled quietly away and gotten into a high-paying job in the private sector before his reputation was damaged beyond repair. Comey needs to go — now!

Afterthought: While all this investigation nonsense is going on, I wonder if anyone but me finds it a bit strange, hypocritical, or out-and-out crooked that no investigation has ever been done on a president whose original birth certificate still remains under lock and key, whose college records remain sealed after eight years, who was caught repeatedly lying to the American people about his healthcare bill, who lied about the cause of four Americans losing their lives in a terrorist attack in Benghazi, and whose background includes solid ties to communist Frank Marshall Davis, American-hating black-liberation-theology preacher Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, to name just a few of his anti-American pals.

Oh, and by the way, while we’re talking about investigations that never happened — particularly Russian-connection investigations — let us not forget BHO’s famous words to then-Russian President Medvedev, “After my election, I have more flexibility,” to which Medvedev replied, “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir, and I stand with you.” How touching. Numbskull Nancy, Maniac Maxine, and Pocahontas would be calling for Trump’s impeachment if he had been the one to say those words to Medvedev.

If one were a cynic, he might be tempted to shout hypocrisy to the rooftops. But, nah … it’s just not right to badmouth our elected representatives. And with that, on with the big show in Washington!

One day at a time is all I can do now. And one thing at a time. Today, I'm hoping real Conservatives in the House will bury the RINO-care bill.

  2. Reality Seeker says:

The dungy Dems just need an excuse for losing, and the Russians are a white race, so the Russians make a great boogeyman….

David Horowitz was recently interviewed by Alex Jones. David understands what is motivating the Democrats.

Jerome Corsi is now working for InfoWars as the DC correspondent … Mr. Corsi is doing outstanding work on this Russian story.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that, hat Fox News has benched Andrew Napolitano for pointing out that James Bond spies were surveilling Trump and passing the info to the CIA……

    Info Wars, indeed.

You can't trust Fox News….. Fox will be the MSM network that shoots the political kill shot at Trump….

  3. Phil Colbert says:

Only one thing– Hillary DID tamper with the voting machines. How do you think she beat Bernie Sanders?

  4. Stephan F says:

Robert, you need to finish your sentence: “Comey needs to go — now!” and should be investigated & brought up on charges now.

Comey is an incompetent moron so utterly corrupt he makes Marion Barry seem like a piker. Here’s a guy who supervised the investigation into the Hun’s email scandal and who was responsible for using hundreds of FBI agents for over an entire year looking into the matter. And to think that after utilizing all of these resources for all this time, all the costly effort, all the waste of money and manpower paid for by the overburden & beleaguered taxpayer that could have been better used for crime prevention, does anyone besides me find this to be a case of unmitigated mismanagement in that the best he could come up with was that “she shouldn’t be prosecuted.”

Government incompetence marches on and Comey make a great case for bringing “tar and feathering” back into vogue.

I live in California where many, many voters are either dead or illegal immigrants. We also have a bunch of Russian hookers. They occupy the most attractive ends of the sin spectrum. Therefore, despite what you say, a Russian hooker could change my vote in a heartbeat. It was overwhelmed by the tricksters anyway.

  6. texas wolfie says:

I am convinced that James Comey is bought and paid for, by whom I have not a clue.

  7. IHeartDagney says:

Robert: You got to the nub of it at the end. It's pure projection. The "dirty dems" LOVE the Russian totalitarian government. They wish to impose it here with them taking control of ALL the money and ALL the power in this country. You've probably even mentioned, in the past, how Teddy Chappaquiddick Kennedy ran to Russia to collude with them to try to hobble Reagan. The "russian connection" now is just the political elites covering up for their own crimes. Nothing more. Trump needs to continue to fight this but not waste any more time with it than it takes to tweet out the truth after each left-wing projection bombshell. Then, when they have the evidence they need, PROSECUTE to the limits of the law the treasonous bast*rds.

I have pretty much the same thoughts about all this. If a lot of DDs don't go to prison, something is very wrong and Trump will have failed.

      • IHeartDagney says:

I would be surprised if we see any positive change in our lifetimes (I'm pushing 60), unfortunately. The actions (or inaction) of the RINO republicans during the Obama regime made me pretty cynical that much positive in this area will happen. Though, much of that was paralyzing race-fear. Trump is the wild card and he may surprise us all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

        • Robert Ringer RJR says:

I think you are exactly right: Trump is the wild card. If he takes the offensive and is relentless, he could finish off the Democratic Party. Literally. Obama is in everything up to his ears, and Trump needs to shine the light on him once and for all.

          • IHeartDagney says:

Yes, that is my ultimate hope. I don't think Trump has any fear in his heart. So, he just may do it. Then, start popping the popcorn! 🙂

When one is in the process of "draining a swamp" the snakes, moles and predators begin to emerge. The only way to flush them out is to bait them, and boy have they taken the bait! The Trump administration has been, I think, brilliantly smoking our leakers, tinkerers and spies. Though they haven't been caught yet they are scurrying about looking for cover. At least they now know they are up against someone who can play hardball.

It is likely true that team Trump knew two days after the election they were being surveilled. That's when they started laying the bait traps. Once Jeff Sessions is finished cleaning out the Justice Department and real investigators and prosecutors begin their work, no one will be safe – not Democrat nor Republican.

  10. Paul says:

Growing up I was so proud to be an American. I thought all countries aspired to be like us. I believed, naively, that our leaders were above corruption. Perhaps it is just worse now, or more out in the open. But the thing that really surprises me is how few people actually believe in liberty, self reliance and have zero ethics. Truly sad.

    • Jim Hallett says:

It is indeed tragic, Paul, that freedom is one of the least-cherished principles by most – even in Amerika. The constant propaganda from the forced schooling establishment and media liars have turned the country into mush minds, wanting socialism or some other totalitarian b.s., despite its historical record of complete failure everywhere. Now, that the Cultural Marxists and "progressives" have taken over, there is no real meaning in being "an American". One just has to find those pods of free thinkers and associate with them wherever they may be found and in whatever country.

  11. Jim Hallett says:

They just suspended one of the brightest minds, Judge Napolitano, when he revealed the embarrassing truth of how deep the Surveillance State is and across national borders. Fox is a corporate entity (one of the Big Six that control virtually ALL MEDIA) and has no agenda that aligns with freedom-loving, property-rights-defenders. They like "progressive" govt. – just a more conservative variety.

Greg Hunter doing more great reporting on the aforementioned issues… https://youtu.be/Fgv269Jxcqc

Where is Fox News? A multi-billion dollar corporation, yet Fox can't seem to break ANY meaningful story. Not one….

Here is Bill Still doing a better job than Fox. Bill only has a low budget YouTube channel, yet he does better job than Fox. Even Bill's self-funding advertising is more interesting than Fox…
      https://youtu.be/rFAjp4R6g8g

RJR's opinions, commentary and analysis are better than anything on Fox….

Judge Jeanine does some great rants, but has she ever broken a meaningful story? No.

Anytime anybody attempts to break a meaningful story on Fox news, the CIA intervenes…..

"And that's the way to is on Monday, March 23, 2016"……

      • Jim Hallett says:

These two are very good, RS. I was familiar with Greg Hunter and the USA Watchdog reporting, but had not heard of the Still Report, so I now subscribed to that. The "lyin' about the spyin'" is not surprising to me at all, but the stupidity of so many citizens who accept the lies from the media whores like WaPo, NYT, et al is depressing. Patience, indeed, as Trump's comments will be vindicated and the criminals will be exposed! Comey, the CIA rats, and a whole lot of other insiders, most notably BHO himself.

  12. Jim Hallett says:

While you are right, Robert, that this Russiagate nonsense is just political theatre (and BAD theatre at that!), but it is being successful in diverting attention and resources from the good things Trump is trying to do (the healthcare plan disaster NOT being one of them). The Radical Left is pulling out all stops to discredit Trump's election and any reduction in the immoral albatross of BIG GOVT. that he might try to institute. Unfortunately, there are not enough citizens "with the lights on" to be outraged at all this. And while we're at it, why not point out the campaign that Obama waged (and funded) to try and control the Israeli election, as he surely did not want Netanyahu to win, though he did.

  13. larajf says:

I wish we the people could do citizens' arrest against the Dirty Dems. But remember when O'Bummer was first elected and someone in Delaware tried to bring suit, he was told he did not have standing. Who else but a citizen who votes would have standing?
We should have standing to arrest those who lie, cheat, steal and perform seditious acts.

  14. TN Ray says:

A masterpiece of truth. It's nice to know that someone remembers Medved, Ayers, Wright, Davis and the endless ironies of the Media's love affair with Obama. Like Rush Limbaugh RR is almost always right 99.7% of the time, or thereabouts. But, I do remember one RR article last year where Robert was certain that Comey was a "straight shooter" (I believe that was the terminology used). Just goes to show that some of these "actors" are so good they they can occasionally fool even Robert Ringer!

    • Robert Ringer RJR says:

Yes, I probably did say that. I made the mistake of believing what I kept hearing from the fake-news guys on TV.

      • TN Ray says:

No problem. I have an abiding appreciation for your insights. The Tortoise always keeps moving in the right direction.

  15. AJDub says:

Robert, thanks for another great article about the Dirty Dems. I have this recurrent nightmare, in which I am called to Washington DC to testify before a Congressional committee. After a few minutes, I get sick of the nonsense I am being subjected to, and start answering, tit for tat, calling them on being the miserable, corrupt clowns that they are. Finally, John McCain, that beacon of virtue, pounds the gavel, screaming, "You are out of order, peon. You are in contempt of Congress". To which I answer, "You bet your ass, Senator, I AM in contempt of Congress. I hold each and every one of you sorry SOBs in contempt". I always wake up just before being hauled out of the hallowed halls to be thrown in a dungeon far beneath the Capitol building. And I awaken with a big smile, feeling much better than I did before.

  16. Robert Ringer RJR says:

    Sounds like a cathartic dream.

  17. Marco says:

Mr Ringer, of course all this Russian-connection thing is a pleasure for the Democrats and Republicans against DT.

However, there is one point you did not mention on this article: Donald Trump himself _always_ speaking well of Russia and very well about Vladimir Putin; he even justified Putin's reputation by saying that Americans are murderers as well.

The point here is not if Americans are murderers or not, the point is he that said it to *defend* Vladimir Putin.

DT has talked bad almost about any country that he mentions… except for Russia.

And he has said, countless times: "Wouldn't it be great if we get along with Russia?" and other phrases in that sense, always talking positive about Russia, in my opinion selling it to the American public.

I hope this comment is allowed in the forum and not discarded from it like my last one ("The Crucifixion of Steve King" on March 21, 2017)

And Mr Ringer, I would love to hear your opinion about this point.

Your words have always been wisdom and answers for me, I want to understand why Donald Trump is always talking well about Russia, something he hasn't done with any other country.

    P.S.
Let's forget about the Dems, the crooked media, the fake news, the CIA, the FBI, and the politicians; let's focus on Donald Trump always making a case in favor of Russia and of Vladimir Putin.

  18. Daniel says:

Hypocrisy is the Dems'/Lefts' stock in trade; isn't it? Otherwise, why would hypocrisy be so abundant in their talking points and positions on virtually everything in cultural, political and economic realms? If we recognize that they use hypocrisy as a strategy to advance their agenda(s) and keep the rest of us off guard, perhaps we will be better equipped to hold our ground in the presence of madness-inducing leftist dogma.
