Viva la Revolucion!

Are you feelin’ the Bern yet? Nothing this exciting has happened since Howard Dean’s psychopathic “Yaaaahhhh!” scream after he came in third in the Iowa caucuses in 2004. It was a war cry that must have made Elizabeth Warren’s Cherokee blood pressure go through the roof. As Chris Plante would say, it’s good to be a Democrat.

While The Donald has establishment Republicans pulling their hair out and on the verge of tears watching their decades-long stranglehold on power becoming more threatened by the day, there’s another sociological game being played on the Dirty Dems’ side of things. Yep, it’s the Bern himself. It seems like everyone is feelin’ the Bern these days.

What an irresistibly charming old coot Bernie Sanders is — kind of like Marx, Lenin, and Stalin, sweethearts all. In fact, Bernie bears an eerie resemblance to Saul Alinsky himself. And while we chuckle at all this, knowing that Bernie has Hillary the Horrible throwing shoes at Bubba and cursing him for his sexual misadventures over the years, the radical left is licking its chops.

Why? Because to radical lefties, Bernie represents more than just a cute sideshow to Hillary’s inevitable exit from the race. They see liberalism/progressivism/socialism/communism as serious business. The vast majority of them, in fact, have made it a lifetime commitment.

While it’s true that radical-left thinking is a serious mental disorder, it’s also true that it’s a threat to those who don’t suffer from this malady, because the crazies are targeting them and their possessions. When Bernie talks revolution, he’s not just some loony uncle who believes in fairy tales. Best we take him seriously, because he is serious. He’s no different than all the other lefties who have been preaching revolution for the masses for at least 150 years.

The reason left-wing revolutionary talk never stops is because it’s extremely difficult to implement tyrannical policies through the ballot box. Thus, to those on the radical left, violent revolution is not just an option, it’s a necessity. They realize people don’t give up their freedom easily, so they see force as the only way to save people from themselves.

Thus, at a time when a majority of Americans want to move away from government control, government regulations, and government theft, ignoramuses on our college campuses, both students (who have no experience with real life) and professors (whose intellect has not developed beyond childhood) are singing the praises of free … Free … FREE. Not free in the traditional sense, but free in the sense of free stuff.

Human nature (read, self-interest), economic reality, and morality are irrelevant to Marxist revolutionaries, and right now they’re feelin’ the Bern. Kind of like that young lady back in 2008 who shouted on television that she was going to get free gas and a suspension of her mortgage payments once Barack Obama took office. Man, was she ever excited. I tell you, she was feelin’ the Bern even then. Hmm … I wonder how she’s enjoying the Obamaconomy today.

Seriously, here’s the problem: While Bernie is a sincere, idealistic old fool, he is not the harmless kook he’s portrayed to be. On the contrary, he gives hope to millions of Americans who have long dreamed of a Bolshevik-style uprising in in the U.S. Trust me, these people would love nothing more than to see blood running in the streets. Odd as it may seem to the mind of a pragmatic capitalist, envy loves blood more than it loves free stuff.

While the anti-establishment revolution on the Republican side of the Demopublican Party is getting most of the attention right now, don’t kid yourself. The envy-based anger on the left is just as strong as the liberty-based anger of those who are fighting to bring down the Republican establishment. And, unfortunately, time is on the side of the radical leftists, so long as a Trump, Cruz, or Carson type doesn’t get hold of the reins of power and totally crush the tyrannical idea of “income equality.”

And, by the way, while we’re talking about it, here’s one of the best-kept secrets of our Orwellian world: Trickle-down economics is the key to a healthy economy and a better life for all those who are willing to work hard! Do you think maybe a few dollars have trickled down from the successes of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Jeff Bezos, to name but a few?

Only an idiot would be unable to see the obvious, and, unfortunately, America does not have a shortage of idiots. Will some Republican ever have the guts to stand up and say, loudly and clearly, that trickle-down economics works?

The way things have been going for decades, it’s just matter of time until the Demopublicans bring in enough illegals to flood the welfare system — and the voting booths. And once that happens, tyranny will be permanently entrenched in the land of the enslaved and the home of the freeloaders.

Of course, Uncle Bernie is unlikely to win out over Joe Biden or whomever else the Dirty Dems end up running against him, but it matters not. Whoever that other person is, he will keep pressing the gas pedal to the floor in an effort to get as far past that magical tyranny-of-the-majority 51 percent mark as possible. It’s all working out just as Ted Kennedy planned it. He must be smiling from his resting place in Hell.

Give the Marxmeister in the White House credit for damn near taking the ball across the goal line — and lest you get overconfident, let me assure you that he might still make it. As RoboMarco said eighty-seven times in three minutes, the man knows exactly what he’s doing.

I say, viva la revolucion! The question is, which of the two revolutions will prevail? An awful lot of angry people are feelin’ the Bern, but an awful lot of angry people are also feelin’ the Trump. It certainly is fun to watch, but where is George Washington when you need him most?

This campaign season proves what I've always thought, that the stupidest people alive are found on college campuses. And the stupidity isn't limited to the students.

    • Phil says:

Actually, the stupid begins with the "professors" and trickles down to the students. I spent a number of years in and about higher education, and let me tell you the situation is far, far, far worse than words can express. Marxists (in the literal sense of the word) own the humanities and social sciences at this point in time, and Keynesian fools own the schools of business. Honestly, I think that "higher" education is the biggest threat facing this nation, and will probably end up killing this republic – or what is left of it.

      • Albert says:

You're absolutely right Phil. The real threat starts at the public education level, and unfortunately the left have that lock, stock and barrel. Look no further, for therein lies the future. Unless this changes, all Western democracies are on their way or becoming "politically correct" dictatorships. George Orwell, where have you gone?

        • Jim Hallett says:

Read John Taylor Gatto's, "An Underground History of American Education" and you will see first hand how the forced schooling (it is NOT education, per se, just brainwashing of a progressive agenda) establishment is behind a lot of what we are experiencing in amerika today. And . . . JTG was an "educator" (teacher of the year in NY), so he speaks from direct experience. As a graduate of U of Michigan, I can tell you that all the "highly ranked" schools are cesspools of Marxism and other deluded totalitarian thought, so Bernie and his Burlington Bonus agenda fit right in. It no longer represents a small minority, as decades of this "Progressive" disease has captured the "minds" of many of its subjects.

      • Jean says:

Not just the professors, but these students' parents as well. How many of them sowed the seeds of the entitlement mentality that sprouts between their ears? Or lived the "Keeping up with the Joneses" lifestyle, and then groused about not having anything saved for retirement, somehow blaming the Republicans for their woes? The woeful ignorance with regard to basic economics AND the woeful lack of personal responsibility among the millennials was planted there by parents and grandparents of my generation. Don't blame me – I opted out of parenthood entirely!

    • dolmontero says:

AND MOST OF THE DUMBEST SHITS ON CAMPUS (BY THE LOOKS OF THEM) ARE GOING ON THE DOLE. READ THAT: OUR MONEY

      • saintquinn says:

Hey Dolmontero….Since WHITES are the ones being ROBBED to pay for blacks and browns on "the dole" (collapsing the system)….Shouldn't WE get on "the dole" to be partially REIMBURSED before the system totally COLLAPSES?

        • dolmontero says:

DEAR SAINT, I THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE A POINT. YOU ARE A WHITE YOUNG STUDENT AND I DO NOT WANT TO UPSET YOU. TOO MUCH. I AM A WHITE (OLDER) STUDENT AND THIS IS WHAT I THINK:

SOME DAYS I THINK HIGHER LEARNING SHOULD BE FREE TO ALL AND THEN OTHER DAYS, IT IRKS ME NO END TO PAY FOR ANYONE ELSE NO MATTER HOW SMART OR WHAT COLOR HE/SHE IS.

I HAD FULL SCHOLARSHIPS PROVIDED ME BY MY MUSIC TEACHERS. ANYTHING EXTRA I WORKED AND PAID FOR MYSELF. AND IT WAS NNOT CHEAP.

HOWEVER, I WILL SAY: I DO NOT LIKE, FOR THE MOST PART, WHAT I HEAR COMING FROM THE PROFS. AND I DON'T CARE EITHER, FOR THE MOST PART, HOW THE STUDENTS PRESENT THEMSELVES. PLEASE READ INTO THAT WHAT YOU WISH.

VISIT A PLACE OF HIGHER LEARNING SOMETIME, FOLKS. MAYBE YOU WILL SEE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.

Thanks Robert…for yet another perfectly delivered observation of the serious issues that we face. Keep hitting it out of the park sir. Been a loyal follower of Ringer logic since RESTORING THE AMERICAN DREAM….thank you for being a continual voice of reason and freedom.

  3. Brandon says:

It's hard not to sound like a Liberal if you disagree with the points "Robert the Ringer" makes in this article.
It's also hard not to feel as if the financial system is rigged by the financial/political elite, when so many
people are on food stamps and so few people enjoy the privilege or the opportunity to make multi $kilobucks
as a corporate director who perpetuates the outlandish salaries of many executives who have never
contributed to the success of capitalism, but only enjoyed the fruits of others' labors.

I don't think I can conjure up images of "pitchforks and torches" in the hands of labor unions and other
large liberal masses, storming the halls of government and commerce, but they are well on the way
toward gaining the advantage at the ballot box, once they find a leader. Obama came close, but
"no cigar". Old Bernie is striking a nerve, but neither he nor Old Hill can lead the ultimate revolution.
I think the Czars of Russia did not see it coming, either.

    • Jim Hallett says:

The financial system IS RIGGED, but it is not due to free market capitalism, but rather due to govt-created corporatism. Most cannot see how awful the Federal Reserve is, and they fail to see the link between corporate welfare (much of it is simply protectionist in that it eliminates fair competition and gives a monopoly to a few powerful interests) and the fact that so many struggle. Democracy has always been an enemy to free market capitalism and after an ever-encroaching govt. in the 20th Century and beyond, we have witnessed the death of free market capitalism . . . . only replaced with a govt. sponsored corporatocracy that benefits the political class criminals and their cronies.

    • Jean says:

If you examine the contributions to Bernie Sanders' campaign, you'll see those pitchforks and torches in the hands of every labor union in the country, with the exception of the FOP. That's his base and his seemingly unending source of very big bucks. His biggest champions are the NEA (teachers' union) and SEIU (the union that rigged ballot boxes in Nevada in 2008).

Trickle down economics works.. oh my Robert.. you want one of the $10 an hour jobs at Amazon??? You really should read How Starbucks Saved My Life by Michael Gill.. it really is an eye-opener how the deck is stacked against most people… poor Donald only started with a million.. which is more BS from Donald..to which Colbert masterfully skewered.. his old man gave him way more than that… bailed him out with $40 million when he was in way over his head with his casinos… so that commie wacko wants to end that kind of stacked deck stuff, well bring it on I say… can't wait to see that other commie, Michael Moore's movie, Where To Invade Next.. common sense ideas that originated in America ironically enough that other countries have successfully integrated into their economies without turning into commie Russia… what is wrong with universal health care, free college tuition, adequate day care and more vacation time.. you tell me..

  5. Paul Herring says:

I'm not politically minded, indeed apolitical is a better description. And after reading these blogs pertaining to the US elections later this year I'm glad to be so. For a country which has long been a bastion of democracy it seems to be all going pear-shaped for America now.

Are any of the contenders for the White House worthy of being resident there? Politics is truly from the deep and very murky waters. Recently I heard a good definition of politics. It goes: "poly" – meaning 'many'. And "tics" – meaning 'a parasite or parasites'. It fits in your country and it fits in ours!

  6. real american says:

Sanders is a cartoon character and the media and powers that be are rubbing our noses in it. Could not have a more ridiculous, unqualified buffoon, he makes even the imposter-in-chief look like a leader

    • saintquinn says:

      You're RIGHT!!!!
And that is WHY he's better that all the rest of them….(Except our "Great White Hope"….)…

    • deleted5386090 says:

Actually, Bernie Sanders is the former 4-term mayor of Burlington Vermont, and he became quite popular not by instituting socialism but by cleaning up graft and corruption. Socialism sucks, but Bernie is an honest socialist politician. Think Nehru or Atlee or Ben Gurion, socialists all. Personally, I'd much rather vote for Ted Cruz, who is also honest, and a believer as I am in free markets.

  7. Mike Saxon says:

Read Jonha Goldberg's "Liberal Facism." It describes everything that Bernie and Hildabeast stand for.

  8. Ed Anderson says:

How can you still believe in trickle down economics when we have seen it crush the middle class and poor? Bernie and Trump's success was created by that pain. The only people that benefit from those policies are the wealthy and people on top. The idea that everyone working hard will prosper is a myth because of those policies.

    • sam239 says:

Think that is cronyism…I agree with Robert that "trickle down" works because if businesspeople/entrepreneurs are allowed free reign to introduce new products/services, a multitude of people benefit: those who purchase the products, as well as the creators.

Like in the case of Uber: they provided all of us (well anyone with the means to have a smartphone and internet) with a competitive alternative to taxi conglomerates. We're effectively wealthier – we have greater opportunities/resources at our hands – as a result of that.

Not sure if that is the sense RR meant, but in that sense "trickle down" seems very real.

    • Jean says:

Sam239 is exactly right. You've never seen true free-market capitalism at work, because when Reagan was in office, the Dems controlled Congress and never untrammelled the citizenry with regard to regulations on business, taxation, or the corollary entrapments created by social services benefits. When the market is actually free and individuals are allowed to trade their time, talent and work product for the price that is optimal for the market, then everyone benefits. The poor benefit from reduced regulations, because too often those protections create obstacles to participation in the economy eliminate incentive even to try to improve one's economic stature. The middle class strengthens in a free market, as there are more opportunities for employment AND more opportunities for entrepreneurship. During the 1980s, there were many instances of the poor becoming middle class the members of the middle class moving into the upper class. During the reign of Obama's terror, it is the opposite.

  9. Reality Seeker says:

“Government is actually the worst failure of civilized man. There has never been a really good one, and even those that are most tolerable are arbitrary, cruel, grasping, and unintelligent.” – H. L. Mencken

Government may well be the worst failure of civilized man ( however, I could argue that religion is a worse failure than government) but man's economic systems are spectacular failures, too. They are "arbitrary, cruel, grasping and unintelligent". Free-market economic systems are the best of the worst.

"Trickle down" works for me as I write this comment from my comfy cosy bed here at the Las Colinas Four Seasons Resort in Irving, Texas. My well appointed villa overlooks the 18th hole. Nice. Just beyond it is the newly remodeled members lounge where I can imbibe a blue moon and watch my own race mingle —- a pastime which is interesting for a student of human nature. I rub elbows with the country-club RINOs and the golf-club Demagogues and the Crony Capitalists as I meander along, occasionally smiling and waving to strangers and friends. Now and then some famous individual can be seen and heard making a complete fool of him or herself. Amusing.

The country-club lifestyle works for me. I actually enjoy the company of those from affluent white culture. Greeting and conversing with such people works for me, but just not as well as solitude. Solitude is always much more companionable. And the farther away from people and their government the better the companionship.

Yes. Trickle down, indeed. Our world is based on what flows to whom. Trump, for example, is a master of the trickle in both business and politics. And I'd vote for him just so I could watch him kick the living shit out of the Washington insiders. Watching Trump rip Jeb a new asshole is just about the most gratifying spectacle I've seen in years. It's the talk of the county club. Bern is also the talk of the country club, but nobody takes him as seriously as DT. Everybody thinks the Bern shall burn out. It's the Donald who has got the country club buzzing like a nest of pissed-off hornets. Donald threatens to divert and/or cutoff the system of trickle-down politics.

Bern? He's great amusement. So fun to watch him needle Hillary. But Bern hasn't got a chance to become president. This race is now Trump's to lose.

  10. Robert, you must have written this before Barky proved to the entire world that she really is a bitch.

  11. dolmontero says:

GEE WHIZ, WHY DON'T YOU TELL US WHAT TRICKLED DOWN AND FROM WHERE?? I TAKE IT TO MEAN THE GOOD LIFE YOU NOW ENJOY WAS THE PRIZE BUT WE STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DID TO GET IT. ENLIGHTEN US?

  12. dolmontero says:

I WAS REFERRING TO REALITY SEEKER'S COMMENT.

  13. saintquinn says:

Hilariously Bernie, Ruth Bader Ginzturd and Chuckie Schumer are all from the same neighborhood (Midwood, Brooklyn) and all went to the same high school…
As disgusting as the thought is I'd rather see Bernie "president" than HildaBeast or one of the "slave to israel" NWO republicrat neocons…At least Bernie is honest about who he is…(and WHO he serves….)….
Trump is our only POSSIBLE option…Hopefully he's not part of a controlled agenda….
Was dumb "affirmative action" surgeon Carson mentioned here for "Diversity" reasons?
    Diversity = WHITE GENOCIDE

This fiasco was bound to come into existence……by God, it was just a matter of time……ya know, before all Hell broke lose and all those citizens feeling denied and insecure were afforded "help" programs that would have made my Dad roll in his grave, (God rest his soul)…..after fighting the Japanese in WWII, he would constantly remind us that "we" really shouldn't be economically dealing with countries that we recently fought heavy-duty, serious wars with…..he had a point; however, he could've never dreamed in a million years that we would be our own downfall…..it's as if we've all lost sight as to who we are and what we stand for…..somehow, we've allowed that to diminish…..instead, we capitalize on what's wrong with America….it's as if many gave up on our political beliefs when they lost belief in Washington and the nightmare that exists in DC……remember the movie with the statement: "I'm made as Hell and I'm not going to take it anymore"? Here we go……God better do more than Bless America…..is it time yet for the Second Coming?????

  15. smucko says:

Instead of "WHY God should bless America", we should be asking ourselves "Why SHOULD God bless America?". He gave us this world, his rules to follow, Free Will, and told us the consequences of our choices. He will be The Great Pin-spotter who will in the end put us in our proper place.
The Boomers like to point to the fatherless Black Families and the Faculty Kooks for our moral and economic decline, but it is the whole Boomer Generation that are the I.D.I.O.T.s (Individuals Determinedly Ignoring Obvious Truths). I do not understand how our generation can simultaneously 1) get teary-eyed at hearing the Star Spangled Banner and boasting about American Exceptionalism, but then 2) turn every facet of American Life over to a Federal Government that they give a dismally low approval rating, and then 3) telegraph to those same bureaucracts that they will not vote for another party. Such self-destructive behavior. Shameful!
if you want to show your I.D.I.O.T friends their future, I would suggest the movie Dr Zhivago, to see what a violent political revolution looks like. Think of it as a Dress Rehearsal. Then pray, pray, pray.

    • Robert Ringer RJR says:

One of the best movies of all time. It would be worth seeing even if it was bad just to watch a young Julie Christie. What a love story to boot.

    • larajf says:

You had me at "Dr. Zhivago" 🙂 I do think you're correct in that people don't realize socialism is the last stop before communism and calling it "democratic socialism" doesn't make it any better. They should talk to people who really live under it and try to make a living and can't.

  16. deleted5386090 says:

You have not convinced me that Bernie Sanders can do much harm with the House of Representatives under Republican control. Donald Trump's pathological temper may plausibly get us all killed. My first choice is President Ted Cruz, but I can't always get what I want. I will sleep nights with President Bernie Sanders, but not with President Donald Trump.

    • Robert Ringer RJR says:

Trust me. Trump's wouldn't do anything to destroy his world-class buildings, his world-class family, and world-class life. Forget liberalism and conservatism. He's a capitalist, and capitalists can be trusted because they create wealth rather than destroy it.

      • trying2b-amused says:

Even if you buy the dubious proposition that Trump is a genuine (i.e. non-crony) capitalist, intending to mount a sincere effort as president to make the benefits of real capitalism available to all Americans, on his first day in office the Men In Black will escort him to a little AV briefing room somewhere deep in the Faraday-caged bowels of the Pentagon, run the gun-camera footage from Dealey Plaza, and that will be that.

    • larajf says:

Bernie will take away the rest of our liberties. Trump, at worst (or best) will get nothing done for 4 years, but at least it will turn us around towards more prosperity. He's not really a leader but I believe he is committed to American ideals of capitalism and inherent greatness. (for the record, I'm leaning towards Cruz as well and hubby is leaning towards Rubio…at least we have options…no one will be perfect but it's better then two old white people who are power mad and committed to ruining what's left of America)

    • Jean says:

"You have not convinced me that Bernie Sanders can do much harm with the House of Representatives under Republican control." Really? Now that Obama has set precedent with his Executive Orders, you don't imagine that a President Sanders would take that ball and run the field with it? As for the Republican controlled House, please cite what they've done for US lately? That is one of the reasons people are liking Trump – they see him as a person of action. The only action we've seen from Republicans is John Boehner crying.

  17. Satire Rubric says:

The Revolution is too late. Sad news indeed, but we must face reality, Washington will never change, ever. It is way past the time to believe in the elected socialists that both parties have become; as has been the case since Progressivism began and the Republicans decided to join the Greed-Train party, and line their own pockets at the expense of Lady Liberty – she can go to hell. K-Street forever – Yeeeehaa!

This lady has become a whore, and reforming whores can be a tough challenge as they have become accustomed to the Penthouse style of living with Uncle Sugar coming by once in a while to "take a little piece of my heart now baby". But what the hell, the guilt only lasts for a minute, then you look around and see the gilded furniture with gold plated sinks, and Yeehaa! – what was I thinking, whoredom is goooooood!

The left most certainly does have a mental disorder as stated by our host. When you combine that disorder, with others who have even worse disorders (which is the constituency of the entire left – all mental cases) – you end up with the Democrats allied with Islam, which houses the worst mental psychopaths in history, and you end up like Europe, which is now gone. It was like watching your best friend drowning in quick sand and there was nothing you could do to stop it. And of course sinking folks like to cling on to healthy others and bring them with them into the kind of hell they created. Misery loves company, so lets give the U.S. a few hundred thousand Islamists to burn and rape them too. They need to feel the burn also, in more ways than one…

Like Islam, the Democrats want "blood in the streets", in order to create the chaos they need to take this country right into the arms of a world wide communist state BO is creating right now. When he is done this year poisoning our country, he is moving on to larger pastures, and more power. He will be telling us what to do from afar, or NY, and you will like it because apparently two terms of our beloved is not enough. Face it, he would win every term for as long as he wanted here, but alas, he must move on, so don't fret, he will still be curtailing your liberty just like you voted for – twice…

I will paraphrase what someone once said but I can't remember who. "Once the people see they can vote themselves the nations largess, the great American experiment is over." The only way to save this nation is to vote everyone in office out, and replace them with 100% tea party all at once. Not gonna happen.

I do not believe a majority of Americans want to move away from government, at all. BO is the undeniable proof. And again, he would get re-elected forever if we didn't have an amendment to stop him. Americans are brain dead stupid, and can barely tie their own shoes anymore – just look at kids walking down the street, they can't even pull their pants up…

I don't know why anyone even spends half a minute of their time on politics (besides politicians). It's only a dog and pony show. 545 (roughly) narcissistic, sociopathic (except for an extreme minority) marionettes bought and paid for by the banking and corporate elite will NEVER do anything in the interest of the constituents. Any random "law" or "bill" that we want that actually goes through is only a coincidence because that's what the deep state wants. It's a joke. 545 people telling 300 million how to live, what they can an cannot ingest? HAHAHAHA! Don't waste your time. Go create something and forget these weasels.

  20. Robert Ringer RJR says:

You are absolutely right – 545 of the worst among us telling 300+ million people how to live is obscene.

  21. smucko says:

Thru the last few decades, every time that I would see on the TV news a signing of a federal law by the President surrounded by a group of Congressional Sponsors, I couldn't help but notice the similarity between them and the Soviet Union Politburo standing behind a wall over-looking Moscow's Red Square during a military parade.
    It is what it is.

Mr. Ringer neglects one very important aspect of America that can save the day — the 2nd Amendment. All of Obama's attempts to destroy it have laughably had the opposite effect — a huge increase in gun purchases and support for gun rights. (Bernie's own home state allows concealed carry without a permit.) The leftists will definitely not want to see blood running in the streets once they realize nearly all the blood is their own.

There's a business saying: "The customer is always right." and you can be sure that that is where modern day socialists focus, intensely on consumer or consumer needs, that's what gives them immense strengths in elections: they zoom in on the needs of the average poor and middle class voter – the majority. In elections often the self-interests of voters triumphs, not reason, logic and leadership. The problem with many rich individual politicians and business leaders and political parties that focus on wealth is that many have lost touch with the incredibly intense desires and needs of the poor and middle class. The welfare state is incredibly popular in Europe. So while I admire and promote those individuals and political parties with experience, with clear leadership, clear achievements, that are successful, often wealthy, that promotes good management of the economy, government, very often people just vote for the free stuff. Buy one get one free, special offer, discount prices, socialists are better marketers than capitalists it seems, they take the market and pro-capitalist, pro-free market political parties today are unable to respond fast enough to the political challenge. The welfare states leave countries in huge debt and inefficiencies, possibly a poor labor market and with low productivity. In time those countries suffer a reduced return on investment and profitability.

I do not agree that trickle down economics works. A rising tide lifts all boats, but the reality is the the rich spend their money in cities and ports across the world and in specific suburbs on specific products. Money that is invested in luxuries is money that's invested in luxuries and not the productive resources of the country. Especially imported luxuries are indeed a luxury, from a US point of view: imported Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Koenigseggs, are indeed luxuries and will add to the negative trade balance in the US economy and more debt. Unless you of cause can leverage that luxury purchase with a business related idea, it remains a luxury. We can do an experiment, boost luxuries by 50x and see what happens to the productivity and trade in the economy. Will it boost employment and productivity? Will the benefits trickle down to the middle class and poor? Today funds are moved across the globe and not necessarily spent inside a country, especially not close to the most productive suburbs and cities and ports that need investment the most.
