The Merciful End of the Corrupt GOP?

The Republican Party appears to be thrashing about like a wild beast in the final stages of its death throes. For those of us who are repulsed by politicians, political parties, and the odious political process, it’s quite entertaining to watch.
(Before proceeding, it’s important to point out that what people think of as the Republican Party is really just a wing of what I have been referring to since 1979 as the Demopublican Party — an oligarchy with two wings, the Democratic wing that sets the agenda and the Republican wing whose main function is to help implement that agenda.)
Of course, such a fraud would not be possible were it not for the fact that our rulers put a great deal of time and effort into providing great theater that diverts the public’s attention from the truth. And the most important aspect of this theater is that the two factions of the Demopublican oligarchy gratuitously pretend to be at odds with one another.
But make no mistake about it — all members in both wings of the party fully understand the importance of the theater aspect of the political game, never losing sight of the fact that their overarching, joint objective is to stay in power. Everything else about the game is secondary. The unspoken understanding among Demopublicans is, “You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours. And if you refuse to play the game, you can be sure that you won’t be around long.”
Nevertheless, the Republican wing of the party has been dying a slow death since the end of the Calvin Coolidge era. Coolidge was the last great U.S. president, a fervent believer that the government’s role was to stay the hell out of the way, hence his slogan: “The business of America is business.”
But when Coolidge handed the freedom baton to Herbert Hoover, the downward spiral began. Hoover was the George W. Bush of his time, offering little resistance to the big spenders in the Democratic wing of the party and paving the way for Franklin D. Roosevelt, the first president to fundamentally change America.
Like the stock market, there have been a few upticks here and there, most notably under Ronald Reagan, but the long-term trend line for America has been downward. And since the first anti-American president appeared on the scene in 2009, members of the Republican wing of the Demopublican Party have not even made a pretense of opposing policies that are specifically intended to collapse the economy.
As a result, everything has been going along just fine for the anti-American crowd for seven years, with the Demopublicans moving ever closer to fascist control of the populace. Then, suddenly, from out of nowhere that damn Donald Trump came along and started threatening to burst the Beltway bubble. Of course, the establishment didn’t take him seriously at first, which is likely to go down in history as their Waterloo mistake.
Like Napoleon, they were breathtakingly arrogant and, as a result, completely miscalculated the strength of their sworn enemy — the American people. Now that Republicans realize they made a terrible mistake in mocking and dismissing the chosen leader of the masses, The Donald, they have become increasingly frantic.
It’s become a real-life version of Road Runner (Trump) and Wile E. Coyote (establishment Republicans). Every time the latter thinks they’ve convinced Republican voters that Trump is a fraud, a phony, and/or an unknowledgeable fool, they wake up in the middle of the night to the haunting sounds of “Beep! Beep!”
I’m hoping that Trump’s great contribution to America will be the official end of the pompous Republican wing of the Demopublican Party — the wing that has brought us such frauds as Recreant Romney, Mush McCain, Mooch McConnell, and, more recently, Robo Rubio. Make no mistake about it, the power brokers behind the scenes are still determined to maintain the status quo, but there’s a good chance that their long-running scam is finally coming to an end — and here’s why:
If Trump reaches the magic 1,237 number, Republican loyalists will have to decide whether to (1) swallow their pride and support him, (2) support the Democratic candidate (most likely Joe Biden or Che Bernie), or (3) start a third party. In either of the first two cases, the Republican wing of the party will officially morph into an anti-establishment Trump wing, and the old way of doing business could be history.
On the other hand, if the establishment forms a third party, they will get crushed in the general election, and the establishment fools who took the plunge would no longer be welcome in the Republican wing of the party. The “Republican Party” might keep its name, but it would be a very different kind of operation. Can you imagine having your own party stolen from you as a result of your own arrogance and ignorance? Is it possible that it’s a just world after all?
I should add that there is one other possible scenario, one in which Trump might get only about 1,000 delegates and the shameless establishment would hand the nomination to a proven loser like MittMan. Trump and his followers would then almost certainly form their own third party, and you can be absolutely certain that they would annihilate the establishment Republicans in the presidential election. In fact, I believe a Trump-led third party would very likely beat the Democrats as well.
Regardless of the scenario, it’s a mischaracterization to say that Trump may cause the so-called Republican Party to fracture. A more accurate assessment would be that the party (or at least the Republican wing of the party) would cease to exist! The nastiness, slimy tactics, and fraud of party loyalists would be (actually already is) so transparent that the party would be laid to rest alongside the long-forgotten Whig Party.
That said, let’s hope that Little Marco and Lyin’ Ted keep up their sleazy remarks, because the more they foam at the mouth, the more likely it is that DT will reach the 1,237 mark and the Republican wing of the Demopublican Party can then peacefully morph into a newer, more palatable version of itself.
What’s that you say? A Trump-led Republican Party might end up being worse? That’s certainly possible, but it would be pretty hard to accomplish such a feat given that the current party is guided by a collection of some of the biggest fools and frauds on the planet. In any event, life is full of risks, so why not give it a try before it’s too late? And keep in mind that right now millions of people are in a risk-taking mood.
This election is the best ever! — the craziest, funniest, nastiest and most entertaining in American history. Have you seen Pastor Mark Burns, yet? He's one of Trump's warm-up acts, and he fires up the crowd at Trump rallies ( aka Trump Reality Shows). Pastor Burns is right out of the movie, "Idiocracy", and he makes my family, friends and I laugh so hard that our stomachs hurt.
Trump rallies are a blast. " Get out! Get'em outta here!!", Trump thunders, as cops, secrete service and body guards mud-wrestle one "protester" after another. "TRUMP, TRUMP, TRUMP, USA, USA, USA" the crowds roar! Attending a Trump Show is like going to a Rolling Stones concert! If you're sorry that you missed the 60s and 70s anti-establishment protests, and you want to have some real fun, then I suggest that you plan on attending a Trump Show. And in the unlikely event that Trump runs against Hillary, be sure to bring a pair of brass knuckles, a football helmet, a jockstrap and cup to protect your balls, because the Trump Shows are going to be attacked by wave after wave of Black Lives Matter and other militant goon squads.
Trump knows how to put on a show, and the rallies are becoming an entertaining mix of Hee Haw, WWF and a prayer meeting. As President, Trump will have to hire Blake Shelton and Terry Crews as a warm-up act at the annual State of the Union address. Who knows? By the time Trump is finished, maybe the State of the Union will get better ratings than the Oscars.
FYI: The satirical movie, "Idiocracy", has become a documentary. Even the writer has admitted that his movie is closer to real life than ever before.

"Idiocracy" is a MUST SEE!!
Che Bernie – I love that! I was calling him Fidel Sanders. I thinking is dead on regarding the Republican party. However, my rather obvious concern about this fracturing is the very real and tragic possibility that it could all lead to a Hillary presidency. Is all this worth that?
Love the comment, Ric!
Yes, let's have a Hillary presidency. With her and the Dirty Dems in charge for four more years, the revolution that is now well under way will be unstoppable. Viva Hillary!
Amen! And it will be obvious that it was socialism that brought things to that point with regard to the misery index. Well, at least to people with any functioning brain cells.
Bernie Chavez!
Yep, best Kabuki Theater of my lifetime. And I've lived through 13 El Presidentes thus far. Seat belt firmly fastened so bring-it-on-on!
IT'S LOS PRESIDENTES, WHICH SIGNIFIES PLURAL, 'EL' IS ONE.
Excellent RR article. Sharing to my Facebook wall.
The Trump rallies are fully of hard-working Americans who want a change in this country. It is no laughing matter that Obama has led our beautiful country into bankruptcy. Whoever the next president is will have to deal with the rapid decline of our monetary system.
When we have no money for food stamps, free housing, free cell phones, what will the moveon.org people do? I think they won't care about your political party, they will take what you have. That's what they have been trained to do for generations.
The United States is being attacked from foreign invaders and by lazy, pampered individuals who are easily led in exchange for a few trinkets. Donald Trump is the only candidate who has the courage to tell the truth.
The rest are liars, and they think we voters are stupid
Cruz is a liar—telling voters he will abolish the IRS. No president has that authority.
Bernie is a liar–the U.S. cannot afford free college for everyone
Hillary is a liar-Clinton Foundation, donations from foreign governments, her emails, etc…
Trump supporters throw around the "lying Ted" comment with no proof whatsoever. Ted Cruz has been leader of the insurrection standing up to party leadership. Trump has participated in this downgraded excuse for a government. Cruz stands for the rule of law under the Constitution. Trump stands for making a deal that he personally finds beneficial. Trump represents exactly what is wrong with government today. We need an end to deal making and enforcement of the law. Any laws we oppose can be changed using appropriate process. The people are speaking out now. It does not appear to me that Trump and his deals are what they really want. I fear that a Trump administration would move us even closer to "Idiocracy."
I personally heard Cruz lie about Trump's dealings in Atlantic City. And I am very familiar with the facts. So, if Cruz didn't lie, then he is dazzlingly ignorant about a subject that would take 10 minutes to Google search to uncover most of the truth. Either way, not qualities that would make for a good president.

"I fear that a Trump administration would move us even closer to 'Idiocracy'". I agree, and there is absolutely no question that's where amerika (sic) is headed with or without Trump — or with or without Ted, Lyin' Ted.
I supported Ted — still do, just not as much as I support Trump. I live steps away from the now infamous "Church" located in Irving where Ted's family and friends congregate —- some crazy shit goes down in there. I also have a residence in Houston. So I was quit pleased when Drudge broke the story about Crazy-ass Ted and his even crazier father and the insanely stupid laying-on of hands and the descending of the "cloud" Holy Spirit on Ted and how God Almighty has anointed Ted Cruz to become president. This is the kinda shit I have to put up with in my neighborhood. Worse still, is God's own messenger works in my neighborhood, Glenn Beck. So, yeah, I have to hold my nose when I support Little Nixon Ted and the religious zealots like Glenn Beck who still haven't emerged out of the Dark Age with their antiquated belief systems. .
I've said this before and I'll say it again: I wish Richard Nixon was running, because he would be light years ahead of Cruz in every way. Lyin' Ted will never be half the man Nixon was. Nixon beat a Reagan, a Romney and a Rockefeller in the GOP primary. Nixon could speak better than politician alive today. Just listen to Nixon's acceptance speech at the 1968 RNC. It's a masterpiece. Better than anything Lyin' Ted will ever come up with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aD5rgDpQqc
Remember when Nixon invited strung-out drugged-up Elvis into the Whitehouse? There were TWO crazies! I've read several psycho-profiles on or of Nixon, and he WAS insane! Your love of Nixon sez something about YOU! RE Ted Cruz, if nothing else, I'd hate to listen to that double-ugly nasal whiney voice of his for four long years! Though if he COULD abolish the IRS, I'd certainly like that! In my Austin days, I talked with some of those people. They felt they had a Perfect Right to people's money!
Reply to Richard:
" love of Nixon" …..lol.
I agree that Nixon had a Jekyll-and-Hyde personality — most pols do.. Did you ever hear any of Nixon's tapes? What a mouth that guy had in private. Be that as it may, Nixon was a force to be reckoned with — a force greater than Ted — I'll tell you that. And did you ever meet Elvis? My mother did, she said he was some kinda crazy guy. with an unmatched charisma. I read the book, "Elvis: What Happened?" and some other writings by Sonny West ( Elvis' friend and bodyguard). It's really amazing what went on, isn't it? Sex, drugs, parties and lots more sex…… I "love" to observe human nature, but that's about as far as my love goes — maybe I love to enjoy some gallows humor and sarcasm, too. Politics is football to me, and this election is like the Superbowl. I still play Elvis' songs on my guitar from time to time, whenever I'm in the mood to do some entertaining. Say that you will about the King, but his contribution to 1950s and early 60s music remains unmatched.
I stand by what I said: Ted isn't half the political man Nixon was, but, yes, Ted is almost the same kind of monster…. and Ted is a hypocrite through and through.
I'm 100% 50s generation: high school, Army & college AND absolutely love the music of Elvis. I read 15 books about Elvis, and they kept comin' so I gave up. I liked the one best about E's spirituality, by his hairdresser who the Colonel got rid of. Drugs is what did the original Elvis in! He believed he could control every aspect of his life by using them. If I elected to have a funeral, I'd have Elvis' recording of "My Way" played throughout! And, "Loving you". When Elvis visited Nixon, he was applying to become a Narc! And Nixon said yes! A sure way to ruin one's life, obviously, is to "do drugs". Why do people do drugs? "Most people sacrifice the ultimate good for the immediate pleasure". John Stuart Mill
Ted Cruz is just another operative for the Bush Crime Family and the New World Order folks, which is why it is convenient for his wife to be a Goldman Sachs gal. I almost cringe when I hear her saying, "He is fighting for the American people!" crap! None of these criminal politicians (save for the honorable Ron Paul) care anything about the American people – just their own power. In addition, Cruz is a Super Neocon, hell-bent on attacking more countries overseas, and he surely has NO INTENT of shrinking the size of govt. (Only Coolidge of the 20th Century Presidents and beyond has shrunk the size of govt.). His vindictive attacks on the Donald, based on non-issues, have shown him (& Rubio) to be nothing more than the hired hounds of the establishment to preserve their own establishment power. NO THANK YOU!
"Ron Paul"
What a man. He's the only man in politics who I really, really respect. Americans had their chance to make America great again by electing Ron and allowing him to turn America back into a free-market republic. That chance is gone. Now Americans need to choose the best Caesar — somebody who won't start a nuclear war — and somebody who'll put the American Empire first. Meanwhile, let's hope that the thousands of scientists who are busy advancing the best interests of the human race can advance technology to the point that mankind can move out into space and colonize the vast expanses in unknown frontiers. Whatever gets us off of earth and out onto other planets is the best expedient solution. After that step, hopefully mankind can evolve into a species that abides by natural law.
Well said, Robert. I personally have taken a comfy seat in the balcony and am having a tremendous good time watching it all unfold. I actually hope Trump wins it all. The entertainment value alone would be worthwhile. If the nation is going to swirl down anyway, we might as well have a street fighter at the helm. And what if, by some great act of Providence, he does manage to turn things around? I can hear the Dem dogs howling from here.
You summed it all up very well.
Love this article. I still don't understand why the politicians seem to want to destroy America and what it stands for – Freedom, self-determination, limited government. It has been a long and irresponsibly led slide into insolvency and the crushing of the spirit of our country. Is it as simple as the politicians just want to ruin things so they gain and keep more power? Trump is representative of a backlash against the current government and I am in 100% support. It is entertaining to watch every established arm of the press and parties try to destroy him and miraculously his supporters not being fooled. I pray he wins and leads to a new day in America.
They want to destroy America, because a weak people paves the way for a strong government. The only way you can have a strong people is if you have a weak government. We the people are the number-one enemy of the government – i.e., freeloading criminal politicians.
I don't understand it either. Don't ANY of them have children and grand-children?
They hate Trump because he's about to run their gravy trains right off the tracks – thank goodness!
Thanks for that. You are a very clear thinker and writer which is why I enjoy your articles and books so much. Its fun to see at least one person leading the charge to fight back – DJT. Your article inspired me to do more to support his candidacy. I think today I will point to your post on my Facebook page and send over a $25 check to Trump and ask them to open up to small donations by voters (no PACS or corporations) so at least we as individuals can give support in an amount of money that certainly could never be taken as "buying Trump" but can allow us to make a statement that he can point to "X individuals have given me donations to show their support but in amounts that could never be used to "buy" me but show how many people support my campaign"
Thanks. And good for you for taking acdtion.
Let's look at this election mathematically. With ANY democrat or ANY establishment RINO, there a 100% guaranteed chance of disappointment, shredding of the Constitution and flushing America down the toilet. This is beyond dispute. On the other hand, Donald Trump MIGHT do the same thing. However, if there is even a 1% chance that Mr. Trump means what he says (the percentage is much higher, in my opinion), realize that a meager 1% is still greater that 0%.
If you were given a choice of two options – door number one, resulting a 0% of surviving, and door number two, resulting in a 1% of surviving, I'd bet you would pick door number two, provided that you were not suicidal.
I believe we need to shake things up. Trump may be the greatest narcissist of all time, but at least he would be a better one than the current White House occupier where the minority crowd rules and everyone else must pay homage rather than assimilate (resistance is futile). Their belief in globalized control by some ruling elite/entity is beyond the pale. We do need to get back to business otherwise the "social justice" crowd will complete their destruction of this country to "equalize" everything. The problem with this thinking is that it is a complete falsehood. Our DNA makes us inherently different so how could you possibly make life equal, whether it is an individual, a state or a country. Competition challenges us and is fun! All it would do is change one ruling party for another. The 80/20 rule and chaos theory prove that there will always be imbalance, it's natural law. How can you equalize what is inherently different and striving to be unequal. We should celebrate our differences. That's what makes us unique. Government and unions are monopolies and must have checks and balances. It is totally unbalanced right now! The taxpayer has no one fighting for their interests. Change is good…we can only use our inductive and deductive reasoning amidst enormous propaganda and hope for the best.
Given the complexities and nuances of getting on the ballot in all 50 states and voting territories, it is too late to form a viable third party offensive at this time…perhaps 2020.
I think Trump might do it if they give him the shaft.
the shame (sham) of it all is that hitlery will be the next president – it has been preordained by the moneyed/corporatist/political elites – does mot make a bit of difference who wins the most electoral votes, the fix is in and we cannot do a damn thing about it …
I must confess that I hope Bernie wins. Teamed with the establishment Republican legislature, it’s the most sure-fire guarantee that absolutely nothing will “get done” for the next four years. And that’s by far the best outcome Americans can hope for at this point.
The Democrats know what it's like to have their party stolen out from under them. I'm thinking Jefferson, the father of the party, would be rolling in his grave right now. And they had one uptick…JFK….but now the party is just one power mad candidate after another who says they want to help the little people but never do.
And I too hope that the cancer in the Republican party is cut out and thrown away. There's no place for it where we need to go.
You have written a masterpiece, Mr. Ringer! I too read and was influenced by you since the 1970s. On another subject, I don't believe that the death of Justice Scalia was "from natural causes". Why do we hear of no one wondering, as I do. Maybe, maybe the Clinton assassination mob traded the job for taking care of miz Hillary. Am I alone in questioning a quick burial and no autopsy?
No, you're not alone. I could give you a long list of things that are rarely questioned.
Great article Robert.
Just saw the new Time(rag) cover with a photo of Ron & Nancy Reagan,
with the caption: What happen to this party? I want to see a cover with
the photo of JFK & Jackie, with the same caption: what happen to this party:
"Ask not what your country can do for you -Ask what you can do for your country.
I won't hold my breath.
Kennedy's famous quote is the first call of Fascists. Forget your own interests and pledge your allegiance to the state.
That's the way I always read the JFK call also! In Michigan, a long time ago, we used to say that taxes are necessary for building good roads, etc., so we didn't mind paying taxes. UNLIKE NOW!
Fascists to Communism that is the Democrat"Trail of Tears" the leftist Elite
has expounded for years.
My response to the JFK quote:
Ask Not what your country can do for you – Ask what you can do for Yourself.
I agree with you that it will probably be Biden. They know that an old commie can't win today. Maybe ten years from now, but not today.
This is absolutely the most entertaining election year that I have ever experienced and I have been around a long time, eleven presidents in my lifetime. I think almost everyone is sick and tired of lifelong professional politicians! DT has made this election process quite a show to watch!!
Thanks for another wonderful commentary Mr. Ringer.
Obama was the symbol of "Hope and change" for the parasites in this country who simply can't comprehend that when you put everyone out of business and out of work there will be no more gravy train.
Donald Trump offers hope and change for the working people – and for our children and grand-children.
SPEAKING OF PARASITES: I HEARD DONALD SAY LAST NIGHT THAT MONEY – LOTS OF IT – IS GOING TO THE ILLEGALS THAT SHOULD BE GOING TO TAKE CARE OF OUR VETERANS.
WHO FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY TO MAKE IT SAFE FOR THE REST OF US.
I WOULD ADD TO THAT OUR RETIRED FOLKS AND I DO MEAN AMERICAN RETIREDS NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE – EVEN – ONE – ILLEGAL.
THAT WOULD AMOUNT TO 10'S OF MILLIONS, FOR STARTERS.
P.S. WATCH, WHEN THE MONEY IS GONE, GONE, AND THERE IS NOTHING LEFT OF THE FREE STUFF, BE PREPARED FOR THE 2ND EXODUS.
BY THE BY, GUESS HOW MUCH TO (ENTER) CANADA AS AN IMMIGRANT? IT AIN'T FREE.
One of the real ironies is that Bernie Sanders is always bringing up his idea of a socialist utopia, Norway, and stating that his administration would be more like it's government. What Bernie doesn't seem to know is that Norway has one of the toughest immigration policies on the books. One of their rules is that if you immigrate and can't speak the language well enough to find work after 5 years, they boot your tush back to your homeland. Their belief is that you are either too stupid to be productive or too lazy. That's how their utopia stays stable – they don't allow a permanent underclass to exist, unlike the US that perpetuates and grows it. Bottom line is, if you want Bernie Sanders' utopian dream, you HAVE to support Trump's immigration policies!
"It’s become a real-life version of Road Runner (Trump) and Wile E. Coyote (establishment Republicans). Every time the latter thinks they’ve convinced Republican voters that Trump is a fraud, a phony, and/or an unknowledgeable fool, they wake up in the middle of the night to the haunting sounds of “Beep! Beep!”
I could not stop laughing when I read this. Just hilarious. And, so true.
Would be nice if both parties would end. One can only work so hard to support them.
SPEAKING OF THE OVOMITS (I LOVE THAT!) I TRY TO NEVER SET EYES/EARS IN THAT DIRECTION.
I CAN HARDLY WAIT UNTIL THE WAIT IS OVER, KNOW WHAT I MEAN?
HOWEVER, WHEN CHANGING CHANNELS, I DID COME ACROSS THEM "PARTYING" WITH THE TRUDEAUS AND WAS STRUCK, AGAIN, WITH HOW SHALLOW THE OVOMITS ARE. IN EVERY WAY.
DRESSED TO THE NINES, SMIRKING LIKE THE PROVERBIAL WHATEVER. SO SMUG. SO NOTHING. DOES ANYTHING TOUCH THEM? PITIFUL
As much as I would like to believe that the corruption in the Republican Party is finished and the result will be the return of the "Ron Paul" style Republicans to command it, I think that a far more likely that the establishment RINO's will simply use their connections and money to force out the reformers and take re-control of the party much like the communists waited their time and took back the Russian government after the old Soviet Union collapsed and got rid of the reformers. The Libertarian Party on the other hand I have read recently has had a surge of new members and just may be able to turn what is the corruption in the GOP into a newly formed major party. That is especially true if the GOP elite manage to keep Trump from being the nominee and someone like Rubio, Romney or Kasich gets the nomination and then loses to Hillary from Hell. The resultant backlash will then destroy what is left of the GOP party.
Corruption is a two way street .. Both parties are Neo Fascist ideology based. The corruption is found in the National Debt which is 45% less than stated. The 45% is comprised of Buffer accounts. And they 1.) Draw interest, and 2.) allow for spending with almost no public disclosure. This is a pure slush fund for congress. As to Trump the media is holding back on the Soros loan [$160 Million] are the fact that Trump's career has been built on the political connections of the Mafia .. .the media will launch this as a flood on the public the day after Trump is the nominee.. that combined with the unreal number of lies told by Trump will sink him and elect Hillary which will end the Bill of Rights … As to Ron Paul there is one more place that no research has been done.. My real question is where or when do any of these supporters of such trite do any real research ?
Who in America deserves most to become Bernie Chavez, American superfascist?

Hi Robert;
I have been a fan of yours for a long while. You have the uncanny ability to see right the "BS" and get to the point of the matter. Your insightful thinking on what's happening with the Republican Party is enlightening to say the least.
I find that I have many other frustrated folks that obviously agree with me when I say let's throw out all the Politicians—-Fire them all—— and let's start all over again. This time—tell them they work for us——- and don't forget this time. Stan Byars, Milagro Media Inc. Albuquerque, NM
Hello Robert, I am new to reading your books and articles, but not to these ideas. I am graduating highschool pretty soon and am currently stocking up on knowledge for my future endeavors of starting a small business soon after. I would just like to complement you on your writings as wisdom, it is nice to know that I am not crazy in subscribing to these ideas!
Great to hear that I'm getting through to someone so young. It sounds like you're on a fast track to success. Good luck to you.
I have always wondered, if Robert J Ringer could have his life over again, is there some decisions he would make differently or is there some interesting business insights he has gained now? If I look at my life, I think if I could make certain decisions over again I would invest more in the stock market and early. I wonder how many people have regretted not buying Apple shares when it was in the dumps and Steve Jobs took over again? So I wish Robert J Ringer would write an article about some interesting business insights he has gained, that might help entrepreneurs and business people, perhaps some investments opportunities that can do well or technologies to watch or even business sectors that is interesting. I remember his quotes on having "laser like focus" on a project or projects. That is absolutely brilliant, I remember those combination of words 20 years later. Robert Ringer has traveled a business road which many of us still have to travel in the next 20 years, looking into the future, what opportunities are we missing? What should we give attention to? Or what business sectors are interesting? Even if it is just property… What technologies or business related events and ideas are interesting or that we can give attention to?
What did Robert Ringer write in his one book? "You have about 30 years to achieve your goals". So if you start out very young, you may have 40 years or more. Robert Ringer is a business inspiration.
Is this the Robert J. Ringer who wrote the excellent book, "Restoring the American Dream?" It was a very informative book that I still keep in my collection. I will be sure to share this article Robert … Thank you!

"Like the stock market, there have been a few upticks here and there, most notably under Ronald Reagan, but the long-term trend line for America has been downward." Have ever you looked at a 100 year chart of the DJIA? The trend is most certainly upward. Sorry, but when you make statements like this it really makes you come off as an idiot.
He probably means the GDP growth after WW2 was very strong, in the 1960s too, but since then US growth rates have fallen from 6% real GDP growth rates to 2% today.
