The Effectiveness of Stealth Marxism

Do you remember when Pastor Rick Warren asked Barack Obama in a 2008 interview what his position was on same-sex marriage? Obama, with a straight face, answered, “I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. For me, as a Christian, it is also a sacred union — God is in the mix.”

Today, of course, he says simply that he’s “evolved on the issue” — again, with a straight face. But his longtime aide David Axelrod explains it quite differently in his book, Believer: My Forty Years in Politics, when he writes that Obama “misled Americans for his own political benefit when he claimed in the 2008 election to oppose same sex marriage for religious reasons.”

Then, alluding to another interview in which Obama reiterated his opposition to same-sex marriage, Axelrod says that “Obama … admitted privately that he was not very good at bullshitting.” It’s hard to believe that the most egomaniacal person ever to occupy the Oval Office underestimated his own ability to deceive people, given that today he is the undisputed bullshit champion of the world.

This kind of lying and deception is the key to the stealth approach to revolution. Self-proclaimed communist Van Jones explained the stealth approach to revolution candidly when he said, in a 2005 interview, that he made the decision to stop openly pursuing his Marxist agenda and pursue it by being “willing to forego the cheap satisfaction of the radical pose for the deep satisfaction of radical ends.”

Jones’s choice was a rational one, because lying about your true beliefs and intentions is much easier and much more efficient than scaring people with talk of violent revolution. Vladimir Lenin was clear about this when he said, “To tell the truth is a petty bourgeois habit, whereas for us to lie is justified by our objectives.” In other words, if your objectives are noble (by your standards), then any and all methods are morally justified — including violence.

Night after night we hear dolts like Bill O’Reilly and Greta Van Susteren appear totally perplexed when they ask questions like, “Why in the world would President Obama do something like that if it’s so obvious to everyone that it’s harmful to America?” or “Is he clueless, or does he simply believe that Americans can’t handle the truth?” or “What in the world was the president thinking?”

The reason for such dopey comments is that they do not understand that lies and deception are normal, everyday tools for those on the radical left. Violence, of course, is their number-one tool of choice, but they realize that too much overt violence can blow their stealth cover.

Dr. John Drew, who taught political science and economics at Williams College, was a classmate of Barack Obama’s during his years at Occidental College. Drew has written and spoken extensively about Obama from a firsthand perspective, though the media has virtually ignored his words.

In a 2012 interview, Drew told columnist Leon Puissegur, “I perceive Obama as being an out and out liar, hiding his real views from the American people. I think those views are deeply objectionable to most people and I am shocked that more media attention hasn’t been focused on vetting Obama and getting down to brass tacks about how he really is.”

Drew, who himself belonged to a Marxist organization at Occidental College, a group that included Barack Obama, has said that Obama made it clear that he was looking forward to “an imminent social revolution, literally a movement where the working classes would overthrow the ruling class and institute a socialist utopia in the United States.”

When others in the group concluded that a stealth approach was more likely to succeed, Obama became angry and continued to insist that violent revolution was necessary. Sorry about that Bill … Greta … Geraldo … and a majority of other media people, even at Fox News.

Clearly, at some juncture along his angry path, Obama finally became convinced, as Van Jones did, that the most practical approach to fundamentally changing the United States of America was a stealth revolution. Where and how this conversion to “forego the cheap satisfaction of the radical pose for the deep satisfaction of radical ends” came about I have no way of knowing, because Obama’s past is so well hidden.

But in his autobiography, Obama makes his conversion clear when he says that he “felt like a spy behind enemy lines” when he worked a low-level corporate job for a short time. Since then, by developing a remarkable ability to turn white guilt to his advantage, Obama has managed to go from community organizer (i.e., unemployed rabble-rouser) to Illinois state senator, to United States senator, to president of the United States.

The result is that after seven-and-a-half years in office, 99 percent of the media continue to ignore his nonstop anti-capitalist, anti-American, anti-white, anti-constitutional, anti-police, anti-military, anti-Christian, pro-Muslim, pro-Marxist words and actions — both past and present. It is truly a phenomenon never before seen in American politics.

The reason I’ve brought all this to the forefront once again is because Obama’s third term (euphemistically referred to as Hillary Clinton’s first term) is rapidly going down the drain. That was made even more evident by the electricity in the air at the Republican National Convention.

Is Obama so egomaniacally delusional that he does not realize this (just as he was not able to see that his campaigning for many Democratic candidates in 2014 would cause them to lose), or is he going to pull another rabbit out of his Marxist hat in an effort to derail Trump’s inevitable victory?

I thought about this when, for the first time I can recall, he gave an unequivocal condolence speech about the Baton Rouge police killings. It’s worth noting that Hillary gave pretty much the same speech to the NAACP, but pivoted after a few minutes and, flinging her grimy little fists in the air, shrieked pandering remarks to the audience about blacks being victims … victims … victims.

If Obama and Hillary can mask their hatred and drop the radical pose — if they can B.S. the public into believing they are, at heart, American flag-pin wearers, that they love the police, that they intend to crack down on radical Islamic terrorism (yes, actually say the words), that they intend to finally put a stop to illegal immigration, that they are pro-life (sort of), and more — they could conceivably stealth their way into an Obama third term.

It’s a scary thought, but I’m counting on Obama’s incredible hubris, which makes it almost impossible for him to admit that he’s ever been wrong about anything. But even if Obama and Hillary did the most masterful job imaginable in lying to, and deceiving, much of the American public, the polls would probably still show they are going to lose the election.

In which case my one concern would be that Obama might, in desperation, resort to the number-one weapon of the radical left: violence. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen, but with all the violent upheaval already taking place cities throughout America, it’s certainly something to think about.

    Perfectly spoken.

    • Bobolito says:

I have often wondered why Bill and Greta ponder Obama's actions. Can they really be that naïve or are they that totally uninformed. I have thought in the past that Bill O'Reilly was putting us on but maybe that is not the case now.

  2. SoulRebel says:

Robert, do people like you and Dan S. Kennedy have any friends or connections in the Trump camp? It seems that were you able to bend his ear, your wisdom and advice to him could transform his campaign (even at this later stage) into an unstoppable force

  3. Nasdaq7 says:

What does Clinton and Obama offer you? Soothing words and smiles. It is worth nothing in the real world that has real world problems. What a tragedy it will be if the US election Clinton when Trump could change the entire economic landscape, make the US great again!

  4. TahoeTony says:

Spot on Mr. Ringer. It is hard to believe intelligent people can't see right through these charlatans. .

    • The intelligent people can see through these charlatans. That's not the problem. The problem is that the intelligent people are far outnumbered by the ignorant, uninformed, disinterested, idealists who will senselessly vote for their own destruction like good little sheep. The masses of sheep in America will vote for the Shepard who feeds them. The sheep can not see ahead that the Shepard may slaughter them for personal profit.

    • Jean says:

It also has little to do with intelligence and more to do with feelings. Leftists make you FEEL as though the world – the taxpaying citizens – the "evil 1%" – owe you something. As though they are somehow responsible for life short-changing you, and the leftist politician is going to SAVE you and FIX them! Despite facts and data, which intelligent people see and willfully ignore, the emotional tug of leftist ideology is what sells it to every generation. Give the people sock puppets and pyrotechnics, not facts, data or history! You'll win every time.

      • Richard Lee Van Der says:

Many or most people of wealth gain their money by sacrificing a potential life of purpose and meaning. Only chasing money is not, in my opinion, a meaningful life. Not to say that some ways of life having good purpose(s) can't lead to money. But those whose whole lives are geared to only chasing the buck may trade their life for it!

        • Lowell says:

What is your basis for saying yhose who make money sacrifice a life of meaning? Does a surgeon who heals and makes money somehow live a less meaningful life than an artistvstruggling to earn hos way withart? how about the owner of a factory that employs a hundred people and allows the employees to support their fanilies? Is the factory owners meaningless or somehow less noble?

  5. Robert, this article is clear, precise and to the point. It spells out the present and future danger that we face better than I have ever heard it expressed by anyone. I actually think that you should send this article directly to Bill O'Reilly. Bill will get it and understand it! And hopefully, he will invite you onto his show as a guest to explain it to his millions of viewers. Go for it! Be the expert from afar!

  6. Serge says:

Robert, When you start your article off with "Do you remember when" so and so depending on the topic. It just reminds me of how the American people forget the past slanders, comments, crime and lies, which we all need to be reminded of, in order to make wiser decisions.

We used to call it the Audacity of a Dope. Sadly, he really has pulled the wool over a lot of people's eyes. I hope they wake up.

Politicians have NEVER been known as an honest lot, but Ovomit has taken it to an absurdly devious & diabolical level (and of course, Hildabeast would be just more of the same as she does not possess 1 moral bone in her body!). The fact that the media keeps shoveling his b.s. for him, and that so many sheeple buy it does not bode well for the future. He is an avowed Marxist and pro-Islam tool, and he will continue to do all that he can to undermine or overthrow the American ideals, using Saul Alinsky and Cloward-Piven tactics in his arsenal. He is a total disgrace, and the next 6 months of his tyranny cannot go fast enough!

  9. david says:

There is an excellent, scary article in the New Yorker by the guy who ghosted Trumps bullshit book The Art of the Deal.. the guy says Trump is a pathological liar, raging egomaniac with no true friends and the attention span of a knat when it's not about him.. and this is the guy you want to have the nuclear codes???

    • Paul says:

It can't be any worse than Hillary selling them.

    • larajf says:

A friend who is freaking out that I may vote Trump sent me that article. I have to question the validity of the author and why is he speaking up now rather then when he was making money on the book. I question who is behind it. And did anyone verify and validate his allegations?

      • Jim Hallett says:

I agree that listening to one "ghost writer" MANY years after he wrote a book is of questionable authenticity, when the OVERWHELMING body of evidence shows that Hildabeast is PURE evil, a congenital LIAR, sociopath, murderer and does not possess one ounce of integrity. I will quickly admit that The Donald has a massive ego, and has changed his position on some things over the years, but he has actually ACCOMPLISHED something, and not just living on the govt. dole in a govt. job which does NOTHING useful and only steals money from productive people in order to fund their salaries and their incompetent and immoral agenda. I would greatly more trust TRUMP in ANY negotiations than the pitiful Hildabeast. Just look at her track record as SOS – failure in Libya, Syria, Iran & Iraq, China and then selling plutonium to Russia once they deposited $1M into the Clinton Foundation (which also receives $$$ from all sorts of nefarious sources, not in the best interests of America).

        • Lowell says:

What about the.fact that Hillar's server was likely hacked by the Russians and /or Chinese who may mow be able to blackmail Hillary. Why isnt anyone talking about that?

    • Bobolito says:

You're a dope if you believe this guy. Who ever heard of him before this and he did not 'ghost write" the book. He went on MSNBC no less, and you believe him??

      • ◄Dave► says:

"You're a dope…" Are you projecting, Bobo? Although many are using the term 'ghostwriter,' it isn't quite accurate, because Tony Schwartz' name is on the cover of the book as the co-author. All one need do is look the book up on Amazon, to see this for oneself. The New Yorker article itself is well worth reading… and pondering. Particularly his inherent difficulty in focusing and concentrating. This rings true to anyone who has ever watched one of his extemporaneous speeches. ◄Dave►

In the ARMY a CWO is a Commissioned Officer, I have both paid and unpaid teaching experience from the elementary grades to the building type construction trades in college. I also own and co-manage several residential real estate properties. This is without a four degree. Over the course going to college part time, off and on from 1959 to 1983 I earned an AA degree in Mechanical Engineering. To steal the words from JAY…"this article is clear, precise and to the point…" Some of my follow "BLACK's" are slowly beginning to see the light! Your article reinforces my HOPE, that just maybe America can get BACK on track.

    • Richard Lee Van Der says:

Yes, I always say that the Light always overcomes the Dark, but, AFTER WHAT DEVASTATION! That's the sad part. AND, the interplay between the Forces for Light, the Good, and the Dark Force, Evil, seems to be the way of personal and collective evolution. Everything appears to be, "seems", cyclic in nature. The Way of the World is NOT easy, but it can be good! depending on our choices and subsequent actions.

  13. Dr. Bill says:

Rational, to the point and concise, exactly what I've come to expect from you, Mr. Ringer. Well done. However, I don't think Bill O'Reilly or Greta Van Susteren are dolts. I believe their apparently credulous "questions" are ironic, allowing the network to ostensibly remain "Fair and Balanced," while introducing the topics for further scrutiny by their audiences.

  14. Jim D says:

    Robert,
Spot on!! One of your better columns.

I hate to quibble, and maybe I missed your subtle sarcasm, but I don't think Obama underestimated his ability to BS; in fact, I think that statement of his WAS him BSing.

Nor do I think 99% of the media is missing Obama & Co's Marxist slide.

    I think they are complicit.

Let's hope that we can GOP can beat Hillary!

    • Jean says:

Obama may have been amazed at how easily he got away with BSing! Anyone else who made statements as ludicrous as he has made – or as brutallly honest, when not on teleprompter (such as his reply to Joe the Plumber regarding wealth redistribution) – would have been shredded by a real journalist.

As Ben Franklin so aptly put it, "the people get the government they deserve"

    • Richard Lee Van Der says:

Which people? "The People" are NOT all the same. Do good and thinking people have to go down with "mass mind"? Time to re-think WHO should be allowed to vote! The unthinking and the unevolved should NOT be equal to those who have progressed!

Firstly, Fox News is about to take a dive because Roger Ailes is on his way out and Rupert's kids are going to take over. The inside story is Roger is getting pushed out not because of his sexual harassment but because the kids want to take over and implement their own political, ideological and financial agenda. Daddy Murdock is getting too old for the day-to-day news bullshit, so his little vampires are taking over…

Secondly, Alex Jones and Matt Drudge and others like them are the future, Fox News is the past. You want to know how you deal with communists?

A few hours ago Alex marched right down to the Communist protest event outside the RNC and bullhorned the Communists, Black Lives Matter and the Black Panthers. Of course there was violence. What do you expect?

Patriots stand up to those who would ruin their country. Alex is just the leading indicator of a trend I've been predicting for years…… There's gonna be a fight.

You can watch a preview of America's future right here. And anybody who thinks that patriots won't get off of their assband fight is in for a surprise.

George Soros is indeed a ruthless PIG who enjoys destroying the lives of civilized people, while he steals their wealth, only to use it to fund more subversion. Any individual or group who shares the same principles of PURE EVIL that were Josef Stalin, are to be ostracized by any rational, moral human being. BLM is a complete joke and based on violence and communist principles, and yet the clown in the White House endorses them. I agree, RS, that people of liberty need to keep their protests non-violent (the NON-aggression principle is ALWAYS to be the guiding light), but I'm not sure the dumbed-down masses can be educated, short of a collapse of the culture, and that may be in the offing . . . and SOONER rather than later.

      • Reality Seeker says:

The single biggest mistake " The People of Liberty" could make is premature engagement in violence. It only takes 3%-5% of a population to set the trend. And a few good men, or even one, can make a difference by leading the way through example.

I agree with you regarding the ignorant masses and the lack there of any hope in reaching them. Frankly, I doubt Trump can make America great again, but, he might make a difference. Trump is going to be sabotaged, killed or at the very least, should he actually become president, his economic plans shall be destroyed and the economy deliberately crashed so he is only a one-term president.

There's no way Trump gets through four years without being called the new Herbert Hoover!

We should have been paying attention years ago when relativism started becoming a problem. We see now looking back that relativism has become outright lying, deception and treachery.

    • Jean says:

The utter irony here is that a recent survey showed that 81 percent of millennials believe that people are inherently untrustworthy and dishonest. Of course, these are the people who are wildly supportive of Bernie Sanders and will ultimately vote for Hillary Clinton, who is the embodiment of dishonesty and untrustworthiness. But this is also the generation raised to believe that moral relativism is the norm and standards are only for "control freaks" or "religious nuts." They aren't mature enough to see the connection between relativism and dishonesty or untrustworthiness.

I like you think, there is no way that Obama and Hillary can win unless all of America has been completely hypmotized for 7 and a half years and absloutely have not paid attention to the simplest of issues to recognize.
Illegal Immigration, terrorism, jobs, nafta, free trade, race relations-It's all falling apart for the incumbant party

Seems obvious to me that Mrs. Trump's speech was written by a speechwriter, a writer who lifted at least 4 lines verbatim. He no doubt has been FIRED by now! Not her fault. She only read the lines that she was given. She probably had NO AWARENESS that those expressions were used by the bitch who has wasted millions of dollars for her pleasure! May the Law of Karma be true!

  21. Eusebia says:

Whether or not you are correct in your assessment of potential outcomes, it is still available for Christian people to pray with absolute conviction, and claim God's protection around the communities and cities where they live. Prayer may seem like a passive activity, but when done with aggressive believing and a commitment to bring God's intervention into play, the powers that direct evil forces will be held back.

  22. Winslow says:

    Mr. Ringer,

One of the most succinct articles that I have read on the subject. For those that are not driven to learn more about the character of BHO this article sums him up in under 2 pages. I plan to forward to as many as I can with hopes of others becoming more like minded in the coming election. Sadly, BHO or Hillary do not model the character of the great men and women that risked their lives and founded this great nation. BHO and Hillary are simply takers and will not risk anything personally for the betterment of this great nation. Do you think that they will take in just one Syrian refuge, man, women or child into their home? Of course not. But they expect the rest of us to just deal with it. They exempt themselves from things like Obamacare and force it on the American people. “We have to pass it to know what's inside” like it was a big tootsie roll. Well if what’s inside is so good for us then why did they exempt themselves, their families and the unions?

If it is violence they ultimately choose it will not be led by them such as in the case of our first President George Washington. They are mere talkers and agitators and as stated earlier will not risk anything personally. They may stir up a crowd for a short lived uprising. However, be assured it will be met with a much greater force. The quiet majority has been pushed in a corner far too long. White, Black and Hispanic law abiding citizens branded as "Racist" by this very ungrateful man and his puppets. We will not tolerate our homes or law enforcement to be threaten, attached or ambushed. What the likes of BHO and his cronies will never grasp is that in the heart of every patriot is that freedom is never free. It comes with a personal price. Something that they will never be willing to pay.

  23. Reality Seeker says:

    "will not risk anything personally"

Yes. That's what it's eventually going to come down to: who'll risk life, limb and property. That's what it always comes down at the bottom of a socioeconomic and geopolitical cycle. Take, for example, an extreme example, the recent cop killings. The police chiefs called the murders "cowards". We're they really cowards? I would call them murders, and condem them, but I don't call anybody a "coward" who goes up against a superior force knowing his own death is absolutely assured. Cowards don't take that kind of personal "risk".

You. Speak of the "Silent Majority". They, like Fox News, are the past. Brietbart News is the future. People who get off of their ass and take to the street are the future. New leaders shall arise just as they've arisen throughout history. The side that wins the upcoming Neo- Civil War will be the side who has those who are willing to put up or shut up……. just like the cop killers. The put it ALL on the line…….

So what is a patriot to do? Play it smart, that's what. How? By not firing the first shot. Don't fire the second shot, nor the third. Educate! Educate! Educate! Wait for the cop killers and Communists and BLM and Black Panthers and all the rest of the collectivist scum to sow the seeds of the Neo-Civil War. Let them draw first blood, second and third.

Only through education and non-violence and only by taking the high road does the Freedom Movement have a chance to succeed. That doesn't mean that an individual should not take to the street and protest. Years ago, on this very blog, I said that if you missed the protests of the 60s, don't worry, because you'll get your chance to protest like America has never seen in its history…….
