Spasms of a Dying Party

Jeff Flake, the whiney liberal Republican from Arizona, outdid himself when he recently lamented, “When you look at some of the audiences cheering for Republicans, sometimes you look out there and you say, ‘Those are the spasms of a dying party.'”

Flake went on to say, “By and large, we’re appealing to older white men, and there are just a limited number of them, and anger and resentment are not a governing philosophy.”

From a psychological perspective, I found Flake’s comments to be fascinating, because they almost perfectly described not the Republican Party, but today’s Democratic Party!  I truly believe that the Dirty Dems are perhaps only two elections (2018 and 2020) away from becoming extinct.

Their obsession with such garbage issues as transgender bathrooms, protecting illegal aliens, non-existent Russia collusion, undefinable “social justice,” and the impeachment of a duly elected president without cause is what comes across to me as the “spasms of a dying party.”

With no meaningful message and no serious agenda, the Dirty Dems’ trademark is anger.  They’re angry that so many people believe global warming is a hoax … angry that so many people believe there should be a crackdown on illegal immigration … angry that so many people are cheering the opening of the Keystone Pipeline and drilling in ANWR … angry that so many people are happy about getting their taxes reduced … and, above all, angry that so many people voted for Donald Trump in the last presidential election.

As to the “older white men” Flake alluded to, just who are these guys anyway?  Was he referring to older white men like Herman Cain, Niger Innes, and Ben Carson?

Or older white men like Larry Elder, Burgess Owens, and Sheriff David Clarke?

Or perhaps older white men like Justice Clarence Thomas, David Webb, and the Wall Street Journal’s Jason Riley?

Hmm … maybe he was referring to older white men like Joy Villa, Dineen Borelli, and Stacey Dash?  Darn, that doesn’t work either … not only not white, but not even men.

The truth be known, those older white men Flake was referring to are just another piece of Radical Left fiction.  After all, the philosophy of the Radical Left is:  Just say it and it will become a reality.  It’s a fascinating, delusional mind-set that I’ve studied for years.

The cold, hard fact is that most of what the Dirty Dems scream and yell about has no relationship with the truth, yet that never seems to discourage them.  It seems clear that they believe if they say something loud enough and long enough with ramrod conviction, it will transform itself into reality.

This is precisely what’s behind the dire prognostications about the GOP’s coming demise.  It’s true that the Republican Party was in its death throes before Donald Trump came along, but it’s obvious to any half-awake, sober person that it is now a party that has come to life … that has a purpose … that is getting things done … that is moving toward more freedom and less government … and, above all, that is finally standing up to its enemies.

To be sure, the GOP has a long way to go, but it is clearly moving in the right direction.  The Dirty Dems, on the other hand, continue their relentless march toward extinction.  The Democratic Party began to die back in 2008 when it audaciously nominated a shiftless, ne’er-do-well community organizer as its presidential candidate, then spent eight years propping him up by promoting the fake narrative that he was a brilliant, pro-American, moderate politician with unmatched oratorical skills.

He was, in fact, none of these things.  What he was was a total fraud whose well-documented radical-left background and clearly stated anti-American goals have been glossed over to this very day.

Back to Snowflake Jeff, the senator in spasm has also insisted that Republicans are in denial about Donald Trump, and I agree that the GOP was, in fact, in denial early on.  However, even Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have finally jumped aboard the Trump Train, as they have come to accept the reality that his ability to get results gives them their best chance of staying in power.  They are also convinced that he has no intention of allowing the mudslinging of the Dirty Dems, FNM, and even some members of his own party to slow him down.

In the meantime, the Dirty Dems continue to be the party of spasms.  These spasms are apparent not only in their perpetual bad-mouthing of Trump, but in their delusional proclamations about the 2018 midterms.  With the aid of the FNM (and even Fox News!), the Dirty Dems continue to promote the baseless narrative that all signs point to a blue wave in the 2018 midterms.

Whether they actually believe such nonsense or are just trying to gin up the Radical Left base, it’s nothing more than another spasm of a dying party:  Just proclaim it and it will magically come to pass!  To be sure, there will be a wave in 2018, but it will be a bright-red wave.

The only question is how many additional Senate seats Republicans will pick up.  With ten Dirty Dem senators up for reelection in states Trump won, Republicans have a real shot at gaining a 60-seat majority in the Senate.  And if that happens, and with Flake, Corker, and McCain gone, they’ll also have a good chance of getting all 60 votes on any legislation they want to push through Congress.

In the House, the Dirty Dems could conceivably pick up some seats, but even if they do, it won’t be enough to give them a majority.  The claims by the Dirty Dems and FNM that Democrats have a good chance of taking back the House is just more wishful thinking.

As the Democratic Party continues its spasms, my suggestion to you is to sit back and enjoy the lead-up to the red wave that’s coming in 2018.  Only one question remains:  After another humiliating loss in the midterms, will the Dirty Dems finally put aside their childish, hate-Trump agenda (two scoops of ice cream, cheating at golf, colluding with Russian bogeymen, etc.) and come up with some serious reasons why people should vote for them?

The answer to this question is a resounding NO.  Today’s Dirty Dems are so hateful, so stupid, and so delusional that their mental incapacitation long ago became irreversible.  Which is probably a good thing, because life wouldn’t be much fun without Cryin’ Chuck’s fake tears, Feeble Nancy’s Armageddon warnings, and Dopey Al Green’s calls for impeachment.  Heck, I’m already starting to miss crooked Hillary’s cackles.

    "Moving in the right direction".

    Barely.

It's more like a deceleration in the wrong direction toward the edge of a cliff; however, I still do support Donald Trump — who I affectionately call, "The One And Only".

The One And Only singlehandedly saved the GOP from itself and extended the shelf life of the Amerikan Empire, i.e., The One And Only Empire. So, we all get a reprieve, for now, and The One And Only can brag about how he made the equity markets great again…..

As for the Democratic Party dying. Don't worry, envy of the "rich" will always be a rallying cry for some party, and Marxism in one form or another shall always be a political religion worshiped by the ignorant masses. So, yeah, the Dirty Dems might die, but they will be quickly replaced by some other dirty party put together by some other dirty little community organizer.

Of course, the biggest threat ( one which I've been harping on for decades) is the button on somebody's desk actually getting pushed. And The One And Only is not too shy to point out that he has a very big BUTTON..

As far as "old white men" are concerned, I'd much rather live in Idaho surrounded by white culture than be smothered in a third-world, shit:hole city like many Amerikan cities have devolved. Diversity is even a bigger line of bullshit than is anthropogenic global warming.

Give me a white, circa 1950s, throwback, little town full of white people , and you can keep your community diversity…

I love your last line! because I am totally 50s generation, high school, Army & first degree in college! All in the 50s. But, as time rolls on, as time does, who are the voters going to be? In any case, I will have gone to a better "place/state" by then!

Amen, Brother RealitySeeker, amen! I'm with you all the way, AND WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY……..ever!

You just missed it. Devonport, Tasmania. 7 years ago, a German guy said, "let's just walk straight across the road in front of the traffic. "What !, you're crazy". But the traffic stopped as we stepped onto the road. We crossed over and the cars just drove on. No yelling, shouting, honking horns etc. Nothing. Surreal. Of course the Mental-Illness et al are now moving in. Extreme impatience, malevolence etc etc etc.

      • Harry Hagan says:

I saw that phenomenon in Naples years ago. It was surreal indeed. No traffic light. 2 or 3 people would just start out into traffic, which was not slow. Faith and guts: what we all need more of.

    • patg2 says:

I'll take diversity any time, as long as it is made up of good people. Yes, there are communities like that. I live in one of them. On purpose.

  2. Paul F Carter says:

I live in Arizona, Flake & McCain are an embarrassment. I wish the people across the country could have seen their campaign ads, all with a conservative message, and then after the election, the govern like Democrats. I can't wait until they are both gone.

    • Rick G. says:

Both of those cornballs just need to go away. And ee all will be.happy.

    • larajf says:

Sometimes, those idiots stay in due to whatever reason (cough voter fraud cough)….Look at Harry Reid. I don't know ANYONE in Nevada who liked or voted for him….and yet, there he was for years.
I'd love to get rid of Feinslime and Pelosi, but my vote in California doesn't count for anything. I had some friends furious with *me* that Trump won. I'm like "Hillary won California, why blame me."
(i'm not sure how much she really won California, if you know what I mean but you can't debate with stupid people)

      • Honorary says:

It's hard to win an argument with a smart person, but its a damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.

      • GaMbaJd says:

I respectfully submit you are wrong. Your comments can be read as "You cannot use logic and reason to win a debate with stupid people". Note that the definition of DEBATE does not mention the use of Facts, only arguments.
"a formal discussion on a particular topic in a public meeting or legislative assembly, in which opposing arguments are put forward."
It is extremely difficult for an intelligent and/or honest person to debate with them. The key is in remembering the purpose of a DEBATE is NOT, repeat NOT to get to the "truth", but to win. Think like a Lawyer. The task is to MANIPULATE the stupid people.
So for example, you do not try to convince a Libtard to vote for Trump. You try to convince them to "Feel the Bern" and throw away their vote on someone who so far removed from the few intelligent people as to "split the vote".

    • patg2 says:

      You and me both.

    • Darlene says:

In the meantime they are ruining our country and voting, not for what’s right, but purely against Trump. Too bad we can’t tell them to pack their offices and go home. The lame ducks!

This is the “Law-of-Attraction” mantra of a delusional political party – and this is why they believe controlling what words we are “allowed” to use is such an important part of their master plan. Too bad that plan is leading the lemmings over the cliff. (not really!)

  5. Steve V. says:

I'm not so sure about the Dirty Dems' demise. Their libtard base will never vote GOP. Everyone getting government checks will vote for the leftist party that promises to keep 'em coming. The MSM will always propagandize for the Dems. Most illegals, legitimate immigrants, minorities and union members are lifetime Dem voters. The two coasts' populations are largely DD. I think elections will generally be extremely close in the near term. In 20 years, however, demographics will overwhelm the GOP, and USA will be doomed.

    • Bill says:

Well, the idea that the Democratic Party is "dying" may be in fact premature if Trump caves on DACA and allows millions of future Democratic voters to gain the right to vote. The demographics will decide the future of America. As the Democratic party is dependent upon a perpetual underclass to keep them in power, they will not give in on DACA, and it is up to Trump to NOT give in to the Dems on this issue. Also, it is imperative for the future of the country that he follow through on his campaign promise to build the wall!

  6. TheLookOut says:

I have never heard a more apt description of Soros's boy than a
"shiftless ne'er-do well community organizer", the pos that keeps
on stinking. That said he is the perfect poster child for the Dems.
We can only hope, pray, and vote that the midterms will shut the
    door on the plague expansion.

  7. larajf says:

I hope it dies out. When Soros is gone, things may get better. Hopefully his heirs will want to spend their money on other things instead of inciting riots.
And the RNC needs to do a lot of housecleaning and stop being afraid of calling a spade a spade.

  8. Rick G. says:

Excellent article, Robert. The current Democratic Party has sunk to its lowest rung ever. I sometimes wonder how the older, former (pre-1968) Democrats like Lyndon Johnson, Hubert Humphrey, Henry "Scoop" Jackson, John Kennedy, Adlai Stevenson, would react in shock and horror about how the party has degenerated into a stinking, smelling cesspool of worthless waste. It was the George McGovern thugs who hijacked the party in 1968, and subsequently 1972, and have been holding the party hostage ever since and sent its way to its dying demise. No, there is no hope for this half-dead dying animal. It is dead on arrival. As for me, there is no way in Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, Limbo or whatever of my ever being or becoming a Democrat. They are completely alien and out of touch with American culture. And it often seems that much of the Republican party is not too far behind.

Now, as for the midterm elections. As soon as the ball was dropped and the new year was rung in, the Dirty Dems turned up the volume full blast and started pounding the drums on their hopes and prospects of seizing again the control of Congress. I really wish I were as optimistic as Robert Ringer about the Republican prospects of at least retaining control of both the House and the Senate. I hope he is right. But if history repeats itself as it normally does, it seems that the out-party wins and takes back control. I have seen this happen far too often and I sincerely dread the thought of it and hope it does not happen. It happened repeatedly in past administrations, but it usually does not hurt the incumbent's chances of getting re-elected. Midterm races generate the enthusiasm and turnout that national election generate. Only time will tell. Looking down the road to 2020 which seems to me like two light years in distance away rather than two calendar years, I believe that President Trump's prospects for being re-elected will depend on two key factors, the state of the US economy and what dirty scoundrel the Dirty Dems choose to put up to run against him. This is my take as I see it.

  9. Ellis Baxter says:

In the election in 2012, I had a conversation with Flake. I outlined my concerns and solutions. He took my hand and said he agreed. And that my plan on Climate Change [I do not believe it is real but if they are right now to end it?] and my solution to the housing and banking problem. He took my card and said he would call as it was clear to him I had an option he had not considered. He won by being a huge conservative in the media. And at the end of the day, he did just the reverse of all the real world solutions that are all over the place. No government issue is hard to solve. They require no payoff to related interests. Flake is a liar, he was trailing Ms Dr Kellie Ward by 25 % in the polls. So he is not running. He is however angry and talking still.

  10. Rocketman says:

I have a question. If the democrat party becomes extinct, then what becomes of those voters that support it? Nature abhors a vacuum so they would have to go somewhere. I can understand the possibility that some of them would resort to violence to achieve what they wrongly perceived as the "evil republicans taking the country over and making the USA into a fascist dictatorship" as they would put it but what of the rest? Most likely some elements of the Democrats would remain as their party would, at least in the strongholds of S. California and the Northeast. Would their be a breakup of BOTH parties, one supporting the "moderate" Republicans like Flake and the other the "conservative" like Steve Bannon, and will that mean that there will also be 2 democrat parties like the extreme left wing party of Obama and another of the "JFK" democrats like Jim Webb? Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.

    • notpropagandized says:

Justified or not, a violent minority by virtue of free will can always go to war just as traditional Americans, as a minority, can go to war with a majority ruling Left, whether by genuine or by fraudulent election. We call them civil wars and it is up to prayerful, righteous people to invite the hand of God to direct one way or the other. Civil war is to be avoided as much as possible – it is more brutal than even the informed can imagine. By the way, the traditionalists should not assume that the Left is not armed – it is.

Justice Clarence Thomas changed his race and his color? When did that kind of surgery come to pass?

  13. Bill Reynolds says:

Thank you Robert for putting into words what many are thinking. Great job!

  14. Sue says:

Dear Robert Ringer. It is not the first time that your articles make me sad but with this last one the tragedy was more clear than ever. You are so intelligent, have so much knowledge and have an amazing analytical capacity. You could do so much good for the world. The world needs people like you. But your hatred for the Democrates and your narrow way of looking at Republicans versus Democrates as the only options makes you blind and stops you from being the source to the world you could be.

I wish you could travel the world, talk to people who are not exactly like you. I do not mean to travel for a week or two on vacation. I mean for a longer time. I wish you could understand how America is rapidly shrinking and becoming more and more unimportant in the eyes of the world and indeed the very opposite of great.

I wish you could understand how people in other countries who do not depend on the Republicans see Donald Trump, not only as a 9-year-old but now lately as a 3-year-old playing in the sandbox. “My bucket is bigger than yours. My button is bigger than yours.”

I wish you would admit that it was a mistake to believe in and hope for Trump. In fact some Republicans have had the courage to do that. We all make mistakes.

But I am afraid what I hope for will never come true. I just had to tell you how much I admire you and how sorry I feel for the way you are wasting your talents.

  15. Rob says:

Great article. If I am not mistaken the theory of "saying it (meaning anything) often enough and people will eventually believe whatever you repeat often enough is true" is a longstanding principal of Alinsky and has been said by others as well. Sadly I think the lefties that have pulled the Democratic Party actually have convinced themselves that what they are saying is true. Having no idea that the folks in the middle and right are not buying their fictions. Given the support of the MSM and the loudness of the Democrats I think the "repeat it" theory will truly be tested over time. Hopefully people will not be fooled. I know I am not.
